Technical Director Marek Skrzynski to Speak About EG Flexo in Munich
Ludlow, MA, February 7, 2018 – – CSW’s technical director Marek Skrzynski and president Scott Ellison will attend the Fogra 2018 Color Management Symposium in Munich from February 28 – March 1, 2018. Skrzynski has been invited to participate in a panel discussion about real world multicolor packaging implementations. His contribution will focus on CSW’s experience with helping both brands and printers to make the leap into the renaissance of extended gamut color usage in flexo printing.
Fogra is a print industry association and research institute, founded in 1951. The association sponsors research to promote the development of print technology and share findings with members of the printing industry. This Fogra event addresses color management challenges and opportunities – such as design, separation, proofing, and process control – for flexo, offset and digital printing.
This year’s symposium includes speakers from GMG, Konica Minolta, ColorLogic, WestRock and W3C. The ICC Developers Conference is co-located with the Fogra event, so attendees from both events will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the International Color Consortium. ICC promotes the use of open, vendor-neutral, cross-platform color management systems.
Skrzynski notes, “We are honored to join the Symposium this year. CSW has been managing color since the early 90’s, and we’re looking forward to networking with, and learning from, other color experts from around the world.”
