CSW, Inc. Will be Hosting Their First Open House at Their Ohio Facility

CSW, Inc. Sylvania, Ohio, May 14, 2018 – Packaging prepress provider CSW, Inc. will hold their first open house at their Sylvania, Ohio plant located at 3545 Silica Road, Unit E, on May 17, 2018.

During the open house, CSW will discuss the Ohio plant’s new product line, steel rule cutting dies for the production of corrugated boxes. The facility has provided flexographic printing plates for printing on corrugated boxes for many years but has expanded its capabilities with the recent installation of a cutting laser and steel rule benders. The Ohio facility now has the resources to produce high-quality cutting dies, including most specialty dies for the corrugated industry. CSW has already filled three new positions at the plant and expects to hire additional diemakers as the business grows.

CSW has operated in Ohio since 2006. CSW’s President Scott Ellison notes, “In recent years we have seen a lot more opportunity in producing tooling for corrugated converters in this area, so we are upgrading and adding personnel to meet this demand.”

Established 80 years ago in Massachusetts, CSW has evolved from a small manufacturer of metal engraved plates to a multimillion-dollar packaging prepress company. In addition to producing tooling for corrugated package printers, CSW also works with brand owners and flexible package and label printers to prepare color-managed artwork, 3D renderings, and packaging mockups.

CEO Laura Wright, whose grandfather founded the company, observes, “Because we continue to diversify our product and service offerings, invest in R&D and develop our people, CSW has lasted for three generations of family ownership. We’re hoping to keep it going for future generations, too.”
